INFORMATION CLAUSE FOR JOB APPLICANTS AT FIRESTONE INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTS POLAND SP. Z O.O., WITH REGISTERED OFFICE IN BERZYNA I. DATA CONTROLLER The controller of your personal data is Firestone Industrial Products Poland sp. z o.o., with its registered office in Berzyna at Berzyna 80, 64-200 Wolsztyn. II. III. PURPOSE AND VOLUNTARY NATURE OF PROVIDING PERSONAL DATA Personal data, to the extent specified by labor law*, is necessary to conduct the recruitment process**; failure to provide this data will make participation in the recruitment impossible. Providing other data not specified by legal regulations will be treated as consent* to process personal data. This consent is voluntary and can be withdrawn at any time. For additional data not required by law, requested by the Controller, or data "generated" during recruitment, the Controller relies on its legitimate interest**. Firestone Industrial Products Poland sp. z o.o. will also process personal data for future recruitment processes if you provide your consent***, which can be withdrawn at any time. If the documents include special categories of data****, explicit consent***** will be required for their processing, which can be withdrawn at any time. For recruitment purposes, the Controller uses the "Traffit" tool, which requires the candidate to provide an email address for clear identification, e.g., to fulfill rights or requests. The Controller relies on legitimate interest******** in this case. To allow the parent company to approve the terms of employment and remuneration, and to assign a UID identification number to the future employee, providing additional data (as required by these documents) will be necessary even before employment starts. This data will be transferred outside the European Economic Area, and your consent is required for this transfer. IV. DATA RECIPIENTS Personal data will be disclosed only to entities authorized by law. Additionally, data will be shared, based on a data processing agreement, with Traffit Sp. z o.o., based in Gdynia, which provides recruitment and document storage services. In email correspondence, the recipient of your personal data will be a data processor from the Bridgestone group based in the USA, which supplies IT systems and email hosting. Due to Firestones affiliation with a parent company responsible for approving reports, the recipients of data of the selected job candidate will be Firestone Industrial Products in the USA and/or Firestone Industrial Products Europe B.V. in the Netherlands. V. DATA RETENTION PERIOD Personal data will be retained only to the extent and for the time necessary to achieve the purpose: Data collected for the ongoing recruitment process will be kept for up to 12 months from the date the application is submitted. Data submitted for participation in future recruitments will be kept for 12 months from the date of application or until consent is withdrawn. Data collected for the purpose of concluding an employment contract and assigning a UID number will be stored for the duration of the employment contract and in accordance with the provisions of the Labor Code. VI. RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECTS Where justified by law, you have the right to: access data (you can find out what data is being processed and receive a copy at any time) rectify data (the Controller will correct incorrect data or update them upon request) erase data (when they are no longer necessary; if consent is withdrawn; if objections are raised; if processed unlawfully; or if required by law) restrict processing (e.g., if the data is no longer needed by the Controller but may be needed for legal claims; if data is incorrect; or pending verification of objection) data portability (you may request your data in a readable format or to have it transferred to another entity, provided it does not affect the rights of others) object to processing (when data is processed under the Controllers legitimate interest; the Controller may still demonstrate overriding legitimate grounds) withdraw consent (at any time by sending a letter to Firestone Industrial Products Poland Sp. z o.o., Berzyna 80, 64-200 Wolsztyn, with the note Personal Data Recruitment; withdrawal does not affect the legality of prior processing) VII. AUTOMATED DECISION-MAKING AND PROFILING Your data will not be subject to automated decision-making or profiling. VIII. TRANSFER OF DATA TO THIRD COUNTRIES Your personal data will not be transferred to international organizations as defined by the GDPR, but will be transferred to third countries if you contact us via email. If you are selected for the applied position, your data will be transferred outside the European Economic Area within the Bridgestone group, due to Firestone's subordination to a controlling entity in the USA. Such transfer does not guarantee an adequate level of data protection, due to the potential uncontrolled access by U.S. authorities such as the FBI, CIA, or NSA. IX. COMPLAINT TO THE SUPERVISORY AUTHORITY You have the right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority if your data is processed unlawfully.
